Went to dinner with my team on Friday after work and I'm already missing them so bad T__T my now-former TL said the TL for the team I'm not going to said she wanted to take me but missed out because the one I'm going to wanted me that badly... literally suffering from success. I'm still not feeling good about it though. Haha

I am SOOOOO happy with the current state of Overwatch oh my god T_T it's hard to believe I've been here since 2016 and still find so much enjoyment from the game. The team at Blizzard have made such a great recovery from the hardships (corporate bullshit) they had to deal with and I'm really loving how things are right now. Mizuki is sooo fun to play and I'm so happy Komatsu Shouhei was cast for him in the JP dub T_T

Kinda bummed because my team at work is getting disbanded and I'm being put in another team. Worst part is that the other two colleagues of mine in the same age range and the two girls I've been with since my first training are going to the team I'm not >_> only one of the people in my half of the split is regularly in office too. My nervous system has been incredibly normal about this all week and I have not been clenching my jaw too much btw. I am normal and well-adjusted and can handle changes like a normal person btw

Anyway I accidentally came across the profile of someone I used to be friends with around a decade ago now. What a throwback. I'm generally not proud of the person I was as a teenager, so it did bring back some kind of sour memories.

I'm not sure I'd reach out to make contact with him. But at least he's doing well, from what I could see.

ONE DAY I will make an RSS feed. And it seems that day is not today.

I am still alive I have not abandoned my post (this site) I have just been excruciatingly busy these last few weeks with video games. I have my blog page almost done and will post my New Years post soon I promise. Noumi-senpai arrived in the mail. I did not just spend almost 10 straight hours on Arknights Endfield. FINALLY bought myself a copy of Koala Ohmugi's Noumi-senpai no Benmei. I've been itching to read this BL since the first couple chapters were being posted, and it's the only one of her works I've not touched yet. AGH. I can't wait for it to get here!!!!!!!

Happy New Year! Starting it off strong with some serious hatred for Windows since an update completely fucked all my file paths and I didn't realise until after I went to go save a gpose I spent a bunch of time on T__T

Bought my first JSK from Baby, the Stars Shine Bright and it arrived in the post today! I finally decided to take the plunge and buy some lolita pieces after admiring the fashion since I was a teen, lol. Made the mistake of showing my incredibly judgemental mother and she made a really snarky comment about it (colour me surprised), but I'm hoping to enjoy my purchase as soon as some other things arrive

Got off work late because I got stuck with a particularly nasty call this afternoon that involved our system randomly deciding to merge customer numbers??? I was hoping to catch up with the story for Where Winds Meet since I'm playing with my FFXIV friends, but I'm completely sapped of energy...

I got LTO for staying late, at least. I'm gonna go curl up in bed and play ACNH now :')

I was so busy last week... I spent 10 hours in a car travelling to and from a funeral, then went to a fireworks event in the countryside with my partner after. I passed out so early!! I'm hoping to sit down and do some more coding soon... Maybe it would be better if I talked about my life in long-form blogs again LOL

Finally watched House's Head and Wilson's Heart after putting it off for literal months. Cried a lot. Doctor Amber Volkais they could never make me hate you.

Finished a 88x31 button for the site. Thought about work without stress for the first time in a moment because I got a perfect QA score sent to me today. Had a nice talk with my TL. Life is good actually!

Work has been stressing me out, I worry I'm secretly doing a really shit job and people are too scared to tell me. Maybe it's just because I've basically been here five minutes though and I've never had an induction/training period that lasted more than a month or so. IDK. At least I had some interesting customer interactions today...

I was really worried I wasn't going to get along with my team leader, but I had a buddying session today with her and she's actually really cool. I really am that girl who is going to be okay.

The more I think about it, the less I managed to accomplish within this past year... I wanted to read roughly one book a month, but I kind of fell off around March since I got really depressed. Of course, Now that I have a job, I have even less time to do things... I can still manage to squeeze in twelve books total for this year though, if I really try...

Since I have this site now, I might post the reviews and thoughts I had about books I read earlier this year since I typed them up in a document a while ago. It'd be nice to have a place to compile my thoughts about books somewhere...

Daylight savings robbed me of another hour of sleep... tons of blisters from new shoes since they're in the process of being broken in... took a lot of phone calls... have to make biscuits for a shared lunch tomorrow... having big girl money is so nice though, so I can't complain~

Katsuragi Ace's solo song was announced to be on the next Umamusume CD release, I'm soooo looking forward to it... I was just thinking yesterday about how I wanted her to have one, lol
