Cold Weather, Warm Thoughts

It's been a while since I've posted or... really done anything related to my site. I feel super bad because I want to continue to cultivate this place, but work and the worsening weather has put a huge damper on my desire to do anything but lie down in my bed after getting home from work. Even as I type this, my hands feel a bit numb from the cold and it feels like my heater is barely doing anything to heat up my room, and I'm thinking about having a nice hot shower.
In theory, I really like winter… It's a good excuse to have a warm drink or meal, I get to wear cozy clothing and it's more socially acceptable to stay indoors! However, it isn't actually winter yet. It's just the tail-end of Autumn, and you bet I'm already complaining that it's too cold to do much. Since it's already getting cold this early, I'm hoping we are able to possibly see some snow this year! Though... where I live is a little too sheltered by the mountains, so we very rarely see it. A woman can dream, though.
